The latest installment,\u00a0<strong><em>Day of Honor Posts<\/em><\/strong>, opens\u00a0<strong>Friday, July 18, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0with a free public reception at the Museum (500 W. Main St.).<\/p>\n<p>This outdoor banner exhibition, installed around the museum\u2019s gazebo, highlights the lives of ten individuals buried at Geer Cemetery, one of Durham\u2019s earliest African American cemeteries.
