When George Watts married Sara Virginia Ecker of Syracuse NY in 1917, Lola became Sara&#8217;s maid. Sara outlived George Watts and went on to marry N.C. Governor Cameron A. R. Lewis, and they relocated to his native Norfolk VA. They had no children of their own, but they took in Lola&#8217;s brothers Theophilus and Marcus (a.k.a.
