The 1880 census, however, tells a different story, including two children\u2014Albert (b 1861) and Ancel (a.k.a. Anderson, b. 1862)\u2014who did not appear on the 1870 census. Also included in the 1880 census are Nannie (a.k.a. Nancy), Sallie (b. 1872), Robert (b. 1875), and Jickey (a.k.a. Jacob, b. 1878). William was a cook at a hotel, Amy was keeping house, and Albert and Anderson were factory hands.
