Volunteers

You can make history.

All the work that Friends of Geer Cemetery does—from the restoration of the physical grounds to genealogical research and community outreach—is performed by volunteers.

Every day we fill in the life stories of people whose names would otherwise be lost. We restore headstones that give descendants a place to contemplate their ancestors and their own origins. We help make and strengthen relationships between those who are connected by their relationships to Geer Cemetery and to the individuals buried there.

We need volunteers to help us with the following work:

• Cemetery Care and Maintenance
• Fundraising
• Social Media
• History and Genealogy
• Event Support/Tour Guides/Docents
