Restoration Awareness Ceremony: A Legacy of Footprints

Join us on 14 June for a day of restoration. Learn the history of the cemetery, hear the stories of the ancestors laid to rest there, and see the progress and work of Friends of Geer Cemetery. Attendees can participate in an ancestral libation ceremony, learn about headstone restoration from conserver Jason Harpe, and experience readings, dance, and visual arts, including performances by community partners Baba Johnny and the Indigo Yard Gals.
