Special cleanup for Restoration Awareness event

On Wednesday, 5 June 2024, Friends of Geer Cemetery will hold a special cleanup session to prepare for our upcoming Restoration Awareness event on June 8th. Our goal is to clear debris and weeds from the area where the headstone restoration will take place, so that guests can safely view the work.

Three of our long-term volunteers, Maureen and Russ Nichols and Carolyn Weinbaum, have graciously agreed to host this work evening. As always, please come with close-toed shoes, long pants, bug spray, sunscreen. We will have water, rakes, tarps, etc. If you have a string trimmer, please bring that along with you.
